The problem
The digital divide is “the socioeconomic (and other) disparities between those people who have skills enabling them to benefit from digital resources, especially the internet, and those who do not have these opportunities and skills” - Oxford Dictionary. The ‘Baby Boomer’ generation struggles with digital literacy which makes life frustrating in an increasingly digital world.

the solution
The final output was a solution that integrates with the iOS floating help button so that you can access ShowMe from any screen. It is like a Life Alert button for inexperienced mobile device users. ShowMe opens a mobile-to-mobile screen sync with one of a user’s contacts. They are able to talk to users, draw on their screen and drop overlays like “tap here” or “swipe this way” to guide the inexperienced mobile device user through tasks like online banking or posting to facebook.
